Business Unit Manager

POSITION
As a Business Unit Manager you will be responsible for the further development and day to day management of our business unit liquids.
You will have a wide range of responsibilities, going from determining the general vision and strategy of the unit, to controlling and reporting, and even ad hoc operational support of the teams.
Next to this you will also take part in various internal and external projects (e.g. digitalization, employee productivity). Even as a skilled relationship builder, your competence in customer interactions remains crucial.You possess the proficiency to effectively communicate with customers, especially when addressing issues that have been escalated to you through your team.
You will be a key figure in the expansion of the business unit.As a person you have strong people management skills, which you will put to good use in guiding and evaluating a team of 25 people in total, consisting of teamleaders and forwarders.
Whom you will support in their development and take their skills to the next level. You will also implement operational and systematic flows together with the teamleaders.You will constantly be in close contact with the entire business unit and be in strong collaboration with the commercial department.
You will report into the General Manager of our Belgian Division, and be part of the Belgian ExCom, where you will work closely with the other BU managers on companywide topics.
