- **Functie**:
Zorg jij ervoor dat de cijfers tot achter de komma kloppen, maar heb je tegelijkertijd een helder beeld van de grote lijnen? En vind je het leuk om actief bij te dragen aan het verbeteren van ons financiële rapportageproces?

Als **Financial Controller** zijn je belangrijkste aandachtspunten de acquisities, integraties en fusieprojecten binnen onze groep.

Daarnaast richt je je op een accurate en tijdige maandafsluiting voor de groep, het opstellen van jaarrekeningen, het ondersteunen van interne-/externe audits, het beoordelen van financiële administraties en het opstellen van ad-hoc rapportages/vragen.

Naast de acquisities, fusies en integraties werk je als financial controller voor Van Heck België ter ondersteuning van het huidige team.
ijdens een gemiddelde werkweek houd je je dan ook bezig met:

- Je speelt een rol in de acquisitieprojecten binnen onze groep (Interne Due Diligence, review specs, PPA, openingsbalansen, goodwill/merk/klantenrelatie berekeningen).
- Helpen bij de integratie van de nieuw overgenomen bedrijven in onze bestaande processen en rapportagecyclus.
- Beoordelen van de maandelijkse cijfers van de lokale nieuw overgenomen bedrijven.
- Een sleutelrol spelen bij de integratie van de overgenomen bedrijven in bestaande bedrijven (fusies) en zorgen voor een nauwkeurige overdracht van activiteiten en balansposities.
- Een sleutelrol spelen in de coördinatie en uitvoering van fusies binnen onze groep vanuit een financieel perspectief.
- Afsluiten van de maandcijfers van Van Heck België en zorgen voor adequate en tijdige rapportage naar de VS (US GAAP).
- Ondersteunen van de andere financiële afdelingen bij de maandelijkse vragen en zorgen voor compliance in GAAP op de cijfers van Van Heck België.
- Optreden als materiedeskundige op het gebied van rapportering voor de hele regio.
- Opstellen van jaarrekeningen gebaseerd op Belgium GAAP.
- Zorgen voor naleving van Local GAAP en US GAAP boekhoudprincipes op de nieuw overgenomen bedrijven.
- Trainen van andere afdelingen om GAAP compliant te zijn
- Ondersteuning van interne-/externe audits en SOX-compliance
- Betrokkenheid bij de migratie naar het volgende ERP-systeem

**Profiel**:
Voor deze functie van Financial Controller zijn we op zoek naar een collega voor wie verbeteren in je bloed zit. Je houdt van cijfers op detailniveau, maar houdt ook de relatie met het totale proces in de gaten. Tegelijkertijd verlies je het werk voor de maandafsluiting niet uit het oog. Je plant en prioriteert, werkt gestructureerd en zorgt ervoor dat zaken op tijd worden afgerond.

Daarnaast breng je het volgende mee:

- Masterdiploma in een financiële richting, bijvoorbeeld Bedrijfskunde, Bedrijfseconomie of Accountancy.
- Tussen de 4 en 5 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen een financiële afdeling of een accountantskantoor.
- Ervaring met fusies en overnames, met name post-closing.
- Uitstekende numerieke en analytische vaardigheden.
- Goed begrip van de Belgische GAAP.
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden, proactief en zelfstartend.
- Effectief communiceren in zowel geschreven als gesproken Engels en Nederlands.
- Zelfverzekerde communicator met het vermogen om sterke werkrelaties op te bouwen in een internationale, complexe matrixorganisatie.
- Goede Franse taalvaardigheden.
