We are looking for an SAP FICO Specialist, to join our IT team.
In this new created role:
You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate management of financial and accounting processes using the SAP ERP system.
You play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions within the SAP Financial Accounting & Controlling (FICO) module.
You act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and SAP consultants to ensure clear communication and alignment of goals.
You collaborate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and production to ensure seamless integration of financial processes within the organization.
You configure and customize SAP FICO modules to meet the organization's financial and accounting requirements. You ensure that SAP FICO configurations and processes comply with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial regulations.Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the SAP FICO modules. Participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
You maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP FICO configurations, business processes, and system changes. Create user manuals and training materials.
You develop and execute test plans, conduct system testing, and identify and address any issues or discrepancies.
You analyse financial data within the SAP FICO module to support decision-making, reporting, and compliance. Ensure data integrity and accuracy. You analyse workflows and data flows to ensure efficiency.
You assist in change management activities, including user training, communication, and support during SAP FICO implementations and upgrades.
Profile:
You have a mínimal of 5-7 years of experience with SAP FICO configuration and implementation.
You have a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
You should have prior experience in an architectural role or a keen interest in pursuing a career as an architect.
Experience in S/4HANA is a plus.You can in a pragmatic way translate complex logistics challenges into standardized (SAP) solutions.
You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
You have strong communication skills and know how to work together with different stakeholders.
Language skills:
English is a must; Dutch and French are an asset.
You are willing to travel for short trips within Europe.
