About the job role:
The Foreman is an experienced professional who ensures the basic coordination operations in the mirage workshop and/or packaging lines: start-up, monitoring, and execution of the mirage workshop production operations. He is responsible for the practical organization of activities, managing his team, and monitoring Quality and EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) tasks.
The Foreman must coordinate every activity in the workshop: packaging, control system, mirage, and product packaging. The role also involves maintaining an optimal social climate within and between teams according to Takeda's leadership expectations and managing production activities to deliver the defined quantity of vials according to the planning and quality criteria required for each product.

- Know every workshop activity: packaging, control system, mirage, ...
- Be present on the Gemba field, communication, etc...
- Optimize online resources and distribute work adequately and variably: staffing establishment
- Set productivity/break goals and ensure continuous productivity monitoring
- Actively participate in meetings
- Ensure effective daily reporting to your N+1 and inter-team during break changes
- Conduct Gemba (Housekeeping, EHS, Quality, 5S, setup line)
- Manage production stops and incidents
- Be present in case of a line stoppage: analysis, decision-making, implementation of solutions
- Take immediate corrective actions and/or ensure transfer to the relevant departments
- Develop effective collaboration with other departments
- Prepare TIER 1
- Maintain, during production and provide to the other team with premises, areas in order/clean with the help of 5S
- Ensure the next batch is always ready
- Analyze encountered problems and machine stops and propose solutions
- Maintain an optimal social climate within and between teams
- Be available and attentive to staff
- Enforce work regulations
- Monitor absenteeism and take appropriate measures
- Communicate to your hierarchical superior any latent problems within the staff
- Defuse and/or manage potential relational conflicts
- Actively participate in the training and certification of team members (operators, technicians, back-ups) and temporary staff
- Conduct an objective and regular evaluation of each team member (in collaboration with the senior technician)
- Planning and resource allocation management
- Ensure compliance with waste management best practices and current safety procedures
- Provide effective feedback on potential incidents and accidents occurring during your shift to your manager and EHS team members
- Participate in identifying the causes of accidents and implementing appropriate corrective actions
- Proactively identify and correct at-risk situations and ensure workshop safety
- Manage the equipment contained in safety cabinets
- Ensure the maintenance of order and cleanliness of the green area
- Promote prevention initiatives
- Conduct assessments in the area (pre-established form) and provide improvement ideas
- Write Beacons
- Document any deviation or non-conformity from production procedures and practices
- Ensure strict and systematic compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
- Ensure compliance with GDP (Good Documentation Practice)
- Follow-up and reduce non-conformities
- Update the documentation present in the workshop
What you bring to Takeda:
- You have a Bachelor's or short-cycle Secondary degree in a technical/scientific field or equivalent experience
- You have a minimum of 3 years experience in the pharmaceutical sector or another regulated sector
- You have relevant experience in people management
- You are a hands-on person
- You respect GMP
- You speak French fluently
Important considerations:

• Working in a controlled environment requires appropriate attire, including wearing protective and safety clothing for the face, hands, feet, and body. It may also involve additional hearing protection in noisy areas.
• Makeup, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, and/or artificial nails will not be accepted in the production area.
• Working in a cold and humid environment.
• Working on multiple shifts, including weekends, or being required to work overtime if necessary.
• Working near chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers, and celite ... which may require respiratory protection.
