Our Position:
Regulatory Affairs ensures that our products comply with applicable regulations regarding chemical substances and customer guidelines. The department achieves this by collecting and processing information on chemical substances. Due to the retirement of one of our colleagues, we are seeking someone to take over the role. Nitto Belgium is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Officer specialized in chemical substance management. You will ensure proper management of hazardous substances and ensure Nitto complies with all regulations.
As a Regulatory Affairs Officer, your responsibilities include:
- Calculating the chemical composition of products
- Preparing declarations for our customers and official authorities
- Ensuring compliance with European regulations
- Investigating customer inquiries, coordinating with internal departments, and providing responses
- Promoting digitization and efficiency within the department
Your Profile:
An ideal Regulatory Affairs Officer...
- Holds a bachelor's degree, preferably in a chemical field or equivalent through experience
- Can perform indepth administrative work and handle difficult calculations proficiently
- Speaks English fluently
- Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders, as well as customers and suppliers
- Coordinates well within the small team and serves as a backup for colleagues
- Enjoys delving into complex matters
