Sopra Steria is currently looking for a Senior BusinessConsultant to strengthen our Consulting practice in Brussels.
Your Mission:
As senior consultant, you will play a key role in designing,building and delivering high value solutions that help our clients move forwardin every part of their business, from strategic planning to day-to-dayoperations.
We arelooking for someone with:
- Hands-on attitude withgreat leadership skills to guide a team of junior consultants and allowthem to grow and develop their competencies
- Aninterest for European Institutions with knowledge of the legislativeprocess at EU level and how it impacts Member States
- Knowledgeof recent EU legislations and initiatives in the field of Justice and HomeAffairs (JHA) crossborder police cooperation and Defense
- Experiencewith interoperability and data exchanges challenges between publicservices at various levels (national, regional and also cross-countriesamong EU Member States)
- Anunderstanding of the human and cultural challenges posed by digitaltransformation processes with proven communication skills to be able toconvey results concisely up to C-level executives
- [Niceto have] Experience with Agile methodologies, ideally demonstrated by oneor more certifications such as Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI-ACP, orSAFe 4 Agilist
- [Niceto have] Experience with EU Commission methodology toolbox
Through your consulting assignments, you will:
- Supportthe identification of strategic issues and performance gaps
- Contributeto the study in different area:
ICT Governance &Management
Business processoptimization & user experience
ICT impact oflegislation
- Developyour skills in project management to ensure the completion of theassignment on time, within budget and with the adequate level ofquality.
In addition, we expect you to be actively involved in thedevelopment of our consulting practice. As we have an ambitious growth plan inthe coming years, you will have the opportunity to evolve with the structureand progressively take on responsibilities in business development as well asin leading and mentoring others. In order to support your assignments and yourcareer development, you will have the possibility to enroll to relevanttrainings via the Sopra Steria academy.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master'sdegree in Law, Business Administration, computer sciences, or a relatedfield.
- Proven experience (4+years) as a Business Consultant, IT Consultant, or similar roles, with astrong legal or business background, and a focus on European Institutions
- Excellent communicationskills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical andnon-technical stakeholders.
- You have the ability tocommunicate complex ideas effectively in French and English, both verballyand in writing, across all levels in an organisation up to C-levelexecutives
- You can engage withvarious types of stakeholders to understand their needs and you haveexperience in designing digital transformation programmes
- Stronganalytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in preparingdetailed reports and documentation.
- Attention to details toensure high quality deliverables.
- Ability to workindependently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to travel toParis every 2 weeks for client meetings and consultations.
- Fluent level of Frenchand English is mandatory
