**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
**Essential Qualifications/Experience: - Minimum 8 years of experience in ICT security-related functions
- Proven, strong expertise in ICT security
- Experience in participating in ICT system implementations
- Have experience in working in an international organization or environment
- Technically oriented university degree (information management, electronic engineering, etc.) or equivalent completed advanced vocational training
- Good understanding and technical knowledge of the ICT infrastructure & security services (directory services, database, PKI, firewall, etc.), latest software technologies
- Good understanding of project management methodologies and tools (PRINCE2)
- Proven experience in organizing workshops and conducting meetings and presentations
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
- Knowledge and practice of key NATO (cyber) security related directives
DUTIES/ROLE:
- Assist the EM/ICTM project managers in their work by developing a set of securityrelated documentation as directed by NATO's security policies and directives
- At the beginning (Initiation phase) of a project a Security Approval/Accreditation Plan is agreed between the Implementation Authority (in this case EM/ICTM) and the Security Accreditation Authority, being the Joint Intelligence and Security Division/NATO Office of Security (JISD/NOS). In the past years EM/ICTM have developed templates and examples of the documentation set that needs to be submitted. These templates will be made available to the expert.
- Development of securityrelated documentation in accordance with the relevant NATO security directives
- Provide securityrelated advice during the acquisition phase of a new project
- Attend meetings related to (cyber) security
- Assist in drafting the Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) document, based on business NFR's provided by the Business Analyst. The NFR document gathers the ability to deploy, security, usability and supportability requirements of the procured solution
- Develop the agreed securityrelated documentation;
- Support the project manager and other project stakeholders regarding security design matters throughout the entire project lifecycle, including security approvalrelated activities
- Twoweekly status reports to NATO supervisor
- Development of Security Accreditation/Approval Plan
- Assist in the development of Security Risk Assessments
- Security Operating Procedures
- NFR's
- Securityrelated input to the CIS Description;Other securityrelated deliverables as required by the NATO supervisor
