Voor een van onze klanten met vestiging in regio Lokeren zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een R&D Design Engineer die kan terugvallen op relevante werkervaring en die vlot overweg kan met Autocad en eventueel Inventor. Functieomschrijving Als R&D Design Engineer kom je terecht in een aangenaam team, met twee junior en twee senior collega's. Gezien het brede productgamma van onze klant, zal je stap voor stap intern opgeleid worden om alle producten gaandeweg te leren kennen en mee te werken aan het verfijnen van het mechanisch ontwerp van bestaande systemen. Naast het finetunen van het bestaande productgamma ben je ook verantwoordelijk voor het uitwerken van nieuwe concepten en systemen. Hiervoor sta je in nauw contact met andere afdelingen, zoals Sales en Productie.

Je werkt op kantoor, maar bevind je zeer dicht bij de productie. Hierdoor hou je voeling met de werkvloer en zie je hoe jouw ontwerp vorm krijgt in de realiteit.
Naast het ontwerp hou je ook rekening met aspecten zoals kostprijs, verwerkingssnelheid, ergonomie, gebruiksvriendelijkheid, etc... Profiel Heb je een achtergrond als Industrieel Ingenieur Productontwikkeling (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring) en kan je vlot overweg met Autocad, eventueel Solidworks en/of Inventor? Beschik je over een vlotte kennis van de Nederlandse taal, aangevuld met een goede kennis Engels en eventueel Frans? Heb je ervaring binnen een R&D omgeving (bij voorkeur binnen de sector van ramen en deuren) en hou je ervan om met jouw creatieve oplossingen een meerwaarde te bieden voor klanten in een B2B context? Heb je een neus voor optimalisatie en kan je zowel zelfstandig als in team werken?
