Het team 'Energiemarkten' van VITO/EnergyVille is gespecialiseerd in het ontwerp, de modellering en de regulering van elektriciteits- en multicarriermarkten. De expertise van het team bestrijkt een brede waaier van onderwerpen: van conceptueel ontwerp van elektriciteits- en reservemarkten tot modellering van verschillende elektriciteitsmarkten en -systemen (inclusief netwerken en gedrag van marktdeelnemers) en regulering. Specifieke toepassingen zijn de integratie van flexibiliteit vanuit het distributiesysteem, tariefontwerp, coördinatie TSO-DSO-klant, marktgebaseerde sectorintegratie, gedecentraliseerde marktvormen zoals peer-to-peer of energiegemeenschappen, en innovatief ontwerp van flexibiliteitsdiensten en -producten. Het team 'Energiemarkten' past deze kennis toe in een brede waaier van projecten: van fundamentele onderzoeksprojecten op langere termijn tot kennisintensieve consultancyprojecten op korte termijn die rechtstreeks voor onze klanten worden uitgevoerd, bv. regulatoren, overheden en gereguleerde stakeholders zoals netbeheerders.
Uw taken en verantwoordelijkheden:
Je treedt op als een belangrijke expert inzake het ontwerp van elektriciteitsmarkten, in het bijzonder inzake onderwerpen die verband houden met de marktgebaseerde integratie van flexibiliteit vanuit het distributiesysteem en gedecentraliseerde marktvormen. Je neemt de technische leiding bij het schrijven van projectvoorstellen en bij de uitvoering van projecten. Je adviseert onze klanten over een breed scala van onderwerpen met betrekking tot het ontwerp van de elektriciteitsmarkt. Je bereidt kwalitatief hoogstaande rapporten en presentaties voor aan de klanten. Je draagt bij tot de onderzoeksactiviteiten van het team en ondersteunt de verdere ontwikkeling van interne tools door inzichten te verschaffen in de behoeften van de stakeholders.Meer info:
Profiel
Je hebt een masterdiploma in Ingenieurswetenschappen, Economie of een andere relevante studie, gecombineerd met minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring in een consultancybedrijf, binnen een onderzoeksinstituut, een energienutsbedrijf of bij netbeheerders. Je hebt feitelijke kennis van hoe de huidige elektriciteits- en reservemarkten georganiseerd zijn in België en de EU. Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands of Frans en Engels. Je hebt ervaring met het schrijven van aanbestedingen of projectvoorstellen. Je hebt ervaring in het beheren van projecten en verwachtingen van klanten. Je communiceert projectresultaten in kwaliteitsvolle rapporten, papers en presentaties. De mogelijkheid om activiteiten gebaseerd te werken: je activiteiten bepalen je werkplek. Gemiddeld word je twee keer per week verwacht in ons kantoor in Genk. De andere dagen kan je van thuis uitwerken of vanuit een andere VITO locaties (Mol, Antwerpen-Berchem, Gent, Oostende), afhankelijk van de noden van de activiteiten en je team.
