We are actively looking for an Accountant for one of our clients active in the medical devices industry and located in the Flemish Brabant, more specifically in the south of Brussels.


This family company has been recently acquired by an international German group which therefore allowed the structure to keep its local scope while being part of a worldwide and renowned company.

The Belgian entity being smaller, it gives the collaborators the opportunity to occupy a broader function with less hierarchy, more freedom and more impact on a daily basis.


So far, the finance and accounting matters were handled by the same person but because of the high number of responsibilities required by both sections, our client is now willing to divide the function into two poles.

It's in this context that our client is actively looking for a person to handle all AP, AR and GL tasks autonomously.

Our client is today working with a fiduciary but has the ambition to internalize all the accountancy. You will therefore play an important role in this internalization.

Function:

  • Booking of sales/purchases/banks
  • Clients and suppliers invoicing (+ followups and reminders)
  • Payments
  • Monthly and yearend closing
  • VAT & Intrastat declarations
  • Prepare the audit documents and be the person of contact for external auditors

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • At least 2 years of experience in the accounting domain
  • Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch
  • You can easily be autonomous and work independently in your daily tasks
  • You have a go getter mentality and take ownership of your responsibilities
  • Organized and proactive, you accomplish your tasks with quality while respecting deadlines
