VRT is op zoek naar een DevOps profiel om het team Media Management te versterken. Je zal aan de slag gaan binnen de afdeling Technologie en Infrastructuur (T&I) waar ze de technologische lijn bepalen over hoe we bij VRT vandaag en morgen media maken en verspreiden.
Hiervoor worden verschillende gespecialiseerde systemen gebruikt en het is ons doel om alles vlot te laten samenwerken voor de interne gebruiker. Hoe geraakt het weerbericht tijdig op antenne? Zien de ondertitels er correct uit? Je komt ook in aanraking met het gebruik van artificiële intelligentie voor het archief of het ontginnen van gebruiksdata om de mediastromen nog sneller en gebruiksvriendelijker te maken.
Wat ga je bij ons doen?
Binnen het team Mediamanagement zoeken we een DevOps profiel die verantwoordelijkheid opneemt in het beheer en de uitrol van de IT-infrastructuur en applicaties die gebruikt worden voor het beheer van onze media assets. Concreet uit zich dat in het volgende takenpakket:
Opzetten en onderhouden van automatisaties voor het uitrollen van onze media-applicaties.
Onderhouden, optimaliseren en beheren van de infrastructuur waarop onze media-applicaties draaien.
Samenwerken met andere teams binnen de organisatie om ervoor te zorgen dat de infrastructuur en applicaties voldoen aan de vereisten en behoeften van de gebruikers.
Proactief monitoren en identificeren van problemen en het implementeren van oplossingen om deze op te lossen.
Samenwerken met andere teams om de beste oplossingen te vinden voor onze gebruikers.
Documenteren van processen, procedures en workflows om de kennis binnen het team te delen en te vergroten.
Wie zoeken we?
Je hebt mínimaal 3 jaar ervaring als DevOps Engineer of in een gelijkwaardige functie.
Je hebt kennis van containers en containerorchestratie zoals Docker/Podman, Kubernetes/Openshift.
Je hebt ervaring met en kennis over het beheren van Linux servers (Redhat, Rocky Linux, Debian).
Je hebt ervaring met het automatiseren van processen en workflows met behulp van tools zoals Ansible, Chef of Puppet.
Ervaring met Terraform of cloudformation is een pluspunt.
Je hebt ervaring met het werken in een Agile / Scrum-omgeving.
Je hebt ervaring met cloud computing, bij voorkeur AWS.
Je hebt goede sociale vaardigheden en bent communicatief.
Je hebt ervaring met scripting en programmeren in talen zoals Python, Bash.
Je hebt ervaring met monitoring tools zoals CheckMK en Nagios.
Je hebt ervaring met software ontwikkeltools zoals Git en Jenkins.
Je hebt kennis over tools binnen de ELK stack en Grafana.
Je hebt ervaring met (clustered) storage oplossingen.
Je hebt ervaring met tools binnen de Atlassian suite voor ticketting en documentatie.
Ervaring in de Media Tech is een troef.
Je hebt ervaring in (VMware) virtualisatie.
Ervaring met LDAP of Redhat IDM is een pluspunt.
