The Project Expert – Process and Quality will contribute to ensuring the quality of our products, enhancing the reliability of our delivery schedules, and optimizing the cost efficiency of OEM projects. In order to bolster our presence in the Low-Pressure blowers & compressors market for OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), we are assembling an engineering team focused on design review, quality processes, and calculation support. Our OEM customers in sectors like Petrochemical and Marine demand specialized compressors for rugged operational environments.

You will collaborate closely with the OEM engineering and Wuxi OEM teams, as well as standard engineering, production flow, and service teams. Direct engagement with customers allows us to define product scopes and guide them towards optimal solutions.

You will report to the Team Leader for Low Pressure OEM Processes.

Role

  • Perform machine selection and calculate performance data for proposals.
  • Verify machine calculations including safety valves, coupling selection, pressure vessels, and tolerance analysis.
  • Drive the standardization of OEM options to incorporate them into the standard production line.
  • Initiate cost-saving measures through improved designs, exploring alternative suppliers, and promoting standardization.
  • Support the skill enhancement of the OEM engineering team.
  • Champion the introduction and enforcement of design standards and concepts.
  • Assist in troubleshooting during commissioning challenges.
  • Review proposals based on customer/end-user RFQ requirements and specifications.
  • Coordinate the design of OEM units and options.
  • Identify and address corrective actions, conducting root cause analyses for design errors.
  • Collaborate and co-engineer with the Wuxi OEM team.
  • Coordinate with the GECIA design team.

Experience & Knowledge requirements

  • Demonstrated strong technical acumen, particularly in mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical and electrical machine design.
  • Prior experience within an engineering or service team.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written).

Educational requirements

  • Master's degree in engineering mechanics, electro mechanics, or equivalent field through relevant experience.
