Wij zijn DS Smith, een internationaal bedrijf actief binnen de Packaging en voor onze Golfkartonfabriek in Gent zoeken wij een Site Quality & Operational Excellence Manager .

Wat je gaat doen:
Je neemt de rol op van Site Quality Manager en zorgt ervoor dat de site compliant is rond kwaliteitssystemen en BRC en volgt de non conformiteiten op (PDCA). Je leidt samen met de verantwoordelijke managers de implementatie van het 'DS Smith Way' Continious Improvement programma. Je schept hiervoor het kader en structuur en stimuleert het continue verbeteren. Je organiseert een professioneel aangestuurd laboratorium en stuurt dit aan naar mens en proces. Je bewaakt de de normen en limieten die worden beschreven in de kwaliteitsprocedures voor de locatie, evenals de klantspecifieke vereisten. Je coordineert en faciliteert verbeterprojecten gerelateerd aan zowel administratieve- als productie gerelateerde processen. Je bent de stuwende kracht achter de realisatie van onze projectenpipeline, deze pipeline wordt gevormd door ons strategisch plan, KPI's, audits en de uitkomsten daarvan en door interne/externe stakeholders aangebrachte verbeterinitiatieven. Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor certificeringen en accreditaties gelinked aan kwaliteit en hygiene, je bent voor verantwoordelijk voor compliance.Jouw kwalificaties
Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in een industriele omgeving met een achtergrond in Quality, dan wel in Continuous Improvement. Enige kennis van (golf)karton is een plus. Idealiter heb je een opleiding op Bachelor niveau, maar industriële ervaring kent een grotere relevantie. Je bezit ervaring en hebt de nodige kwalificaties op het gebied van kwaliteitsmanagement (bijv. ISO9001:2015, HACCP, FAVV, Voedselveiligheid, BRCGS) Je bent gekwalificeerd als ISO-auditor of bereid deze opleiding te gaan volgen. Je hebt kennis van de Lean filosofie, je bent analytische sterk en week zaken op een wetenschappelijke manier te benaderen. Goede kennis van CI tools en technieken, je bent in staat anderen te trainen in deze tools en technieken.Genoemde kwalificaties zijn een leidraad, heb jij specialistische kennis binnen een van de twee genoemde domeinen (Quality óf Operational Excellence) en ben jij bereid om jouw kennis in het andere domein op peil te brengen, dan staan we zeker open om hierover het gesprek aan te gaan.
