Je draagt ook bij aan het ontwikkelen van complexe en innovatieve informaticadiensten ten behoeve van de samenleving.
Als moderne centrale bank, lid van het Eurosysteem, werkt de NBB voor het algemeen belang. Haar opdracht is te zorgen voor een stabiel financieel systeem, betrouwbare financiële instellingen en efficiënte betalingssystemen, alsook economische en financiële gegevens verstrekken en analyseren.
De Bank zoekt een verantwoordelijke (V/M/X) voor haar Base Infrastructure team. Dit team maakt deel uit van de dienst IT Infrastructure & Operations, bevoegd voor het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van de IT-infrastructuur van de Bank.
De Base Infrastructure afdeling bestaat uit twee grote teams. Het ene team is verantwoordelijk voor de fysieke, virtuele en cloud-serveromgeving en het andere team voor de interne en externe connectiviteit en netwerken. We evolueren snel in de gebruikte technologieën en streven naar de meest moderne architectuur
- en beheerprincipes zoals DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, Software Defined Networking en HyperConverged Infrastructure. Op deze manier willen we onze klanten doelgericht en flexibel ondersteunen. Er is ook zeer veel aandacht voor IT-security door het ontwerp van alle IT-componenten en door aanbieden van specifieke oplossingen voor privileged access of het beheren van IT secrets en credentials.
**Functie**:
Als hoofd van de afdeling Base Infrastructure ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer en de verdere ontwikkeling van verschillende IT-infrastructuurcomponenten. Je leidt hierbij een team van 25 interne en externe experten en rapporteert aan het diensthoofd IT Infrastructure & Operations.
Je belangrijkste taken zijn:
- je team van experten leiden en de planning en prioriteiten sturen.
- je medewerkers ondersteunen in hun werk en ontwikkeling en hen motiveren om tot de beste resultaten te komen
- samen met de collega's IT Business Partnering en IT-architecten de business noden identificeren en de technische mogelijkheden en evoluties, die een oplossing kunnen bieden, opvolgen
- de IT Base Infrastructure afdeling onderhouden en ontwikkelen, in lijn met de IT-security richtlijnen, IT-architectuur en cloud-strategie van de Bank. Je streeft naar automatisatie en standaardisatie, en verwijdert verouderde tools
- je resources en budgetten zorgvuldig plannen om nieuwe projecten en vooruitgang te ondersteunen, maar je balanceert dit met het onderhoud en beheer van de bestaande omgeving. Je werkt hierbij constructief samen met andere teams
- meewerken aan de strategische IT roadmap
In het kader van je functie heb je via werkgroepen, events of opleidingen regelmatig diverse nationale en internationale contacten om op de hoogte te blijven van de meest recente evoluties.
**Profiel**:
- je hebt een masterdiploma, bij voorkeur in een verwant studiegebied met voldoende IT-kennis
- enkele jaren ervaring in een gelijkaardige positie als lead van een IT-experten team is een sterke plus
- je bent een uitstekende people manager die vertrouwen geeft en ruimte maakt voor initiatief. Helder en transparant communiceren is een must, net als het team organiseren op een flexibele en resultaatgerichte manier. Hierbij creëer je ook een visie op de evolutie van je team en haar IT-domein op langere termijn
- je hebt affiniteit met de IT-technische domeinen binnen IT Base Infrastructure, bent gepassioneerd door IT en leert graag bij
- je hebt sterke analytische en probleemoplossende capaciteiten, om in een complexe omgeving met soms onvolledige informatie het doel voor ogen te houden en met je team voldoende wendbaar te kunnen zijn
- je neemt verantwoordelijkheid en beslissingen met een continuous improvement attitude. Je bent hierbij positief ingesteld, gemotiveerd om met je team creatieve oplossingen voor te stellen en uit te werken
- je kan prioriteiten stellen en beheren in jouw team, in goede samenwerking met andere team
- als Nederlandstalige heb je een goede kennis van het Frans en het Engels (min. Niveau B1) of ben je bereid op korte termijn hieraan te werken (de NBB biedt zelf voldoende opleidingsmogelijkheden in-house)
