We're on the lookout for our next People Officer, responsible for the international HR administration, office and payroll coordination.

We offer an unique opportunity to work on an international level, as you'll be the first point of contact for our employees in Belgium, Spain, Tunisia and Madagascar.

You will directly report to the Global Head of People.

Your responsibilities:

HR Administration

  • Coordinate with our BE & ES payroll consultants and manage the payroll provider system
  • Manage the HRIS and admin related tasks: onboarding, offboarding, holidays, leaves, compensation and benefits allocation, etc.
  • Ensure the best office experience by handling office & IT material purchase orders, grant software access, and make the office a great place to work

People Operations & Advisory

  • Be the firstline liaison for all hard HR matters and provide frontline People support to all employees
  • Be a trusted advisor for the external providers and great at developing and maintaining excellent professional relationships with managers and staff members
  • Provide counseling and support on policies and procedures, on a local (BE) and global level
  • Independently design, plan, propose, implement and follow up on projects from our HR strategy that will have a big impact on all employees on a global level.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources or related business field
  • At least 2 years working experience in HR related activities

Autonomous, highly organized, solution oriented and empathic define your main personality traits

  • Fluent in French and English. Dutch or Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
  • Critical and curious to review processes and ways of working
  • General knowledge of Belgian social and labor laws
  • Excellent team player, who takes pride in providing high quality support and advice
  • Able to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
