Skills, knowledge, experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree or Higher Educational qualification in related discipline;
  • Substantial experience with budget and financial management;
  • Advanced Microsoft office experience and skills, particularly MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.

Desirable:

  • Prior experience of working in a NATO Organisation.

Duties/role:

  • Collecting financial information (CAPEX and OPEX) from NISC Service Areas, then developing the expenditure plan for each;
  • Ensuring all funds related to NISC provision of services to customers (both external and internal) are provided to NISC in due course;
  • Monitoring the spending of the NISC funds in both CAPEX and OPEX areas, checking proposed expenditures against the plan prior to approving, and in particular advising on hiring of staff from a financial affordability perspective.
