About the position


As Senior Brand Manager you are part of the Marketing team reporting into the Head of Marketing Netherlands & Belgium, with a Junior Brand Manager under your leadership.

You'll join a very close and collaborative team that shares the portfolio and activity plans. You will also work closely with the European and local Commercial teams.


You will be driving brand performance using a data-driven approach: monitoring brand performance vs KPI's, together with return on investment of advertising and promotions, and using these insights to make recommended actions to accelerate or turn-around growth.

You will be leveraging insights from market research, category and brand performance, market trends, consumer behavior, etc. to drive continuous improvement and anticipate threats & opportunities.


You will also build on local market understanding to generate insights and foresights as input for the definition, implementation and steering of local growth plans.


In this role, you will work on the strategic and operational management of the brand & product portfolio for Netherlands and Belgium, but also continuously on plans & activations that drive household penetration for key brands.

You will conceptualize, coordinate and execute marketing activities (incl. campaigns, activation concepts) and in accordance with Brand guidelines.


Together with internal / external agencies and internal stakeholders, you'll work on the delivery of key initiatives in a timely manner and with excellence.


You will own the brand architecture and lead the locally relevant product development and launch process of all innovations and renovation, from concept through to in-market execution.

You will be responsible and accountable for the development and management for the full brand budget of your portfolio.

You will provide input to agree on local strategic pricing and pricing guidelines.


In close collaboration with the sales team & European stakeholders, you will raise the bar for better impact of marketing in Netherlands & Belgium using data-driven marketing and excellent consumer insights to be locally relevant, culturally resonant, and faster than competition in everything we do.


So, what does it take to be successful in this role?


With a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any business-related field and a minimum 6 years of marketing experience with proven track record in the FMCG industry, you have a deep passion for building brands and a holistic marketing skill set with strong consumer orientation and the ability to translate ideas and passion into execution and financial results_.

A performance mindset is needed and shows not only in personality but also strong commercial and financial acumen together with excellent analytical skills


Besides being a strong teamplayer with excellent interpersonal skills, youhave_ _proven project management skills, exceptional planning and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

We operate in a global environment so your English is near native or bilingual. Fluency in either Dutch or French also required.
