Omschrijving:

We are looking for a experienced
Freelance HR Officer. You will be responsible for the entire
administrative onboarding process of our employees, 95% are foreign expats.

In doing so, you will do all employment administration and you are the Focal Point at all local authorities:
municipalities, mutuality, local medical care services, local police, etc. You will report to the HR Manager.

Your responsabilities:

  • Preparing Belgian labour contracts in Dutch with English translation;
  • DIMONA/LIMOSA registration at local authorities online platform;
  • Provide full onboarding/offboarding introduction at (de)mobilization day;
  • Provide all relevant local information to settle in Flemish Antwerp region;
  • Registering expats at local municipality as well as all communication with different Belgian municipalities;
  • Registering expats to health insurance (mutuality) as well as all communication; between expats and local health insurance;
  • Monitor HR Dashboard (Social documents, ID, work permit, residence card, A1, medical certificate, VCA certificate, First Aid certificates...);
  • Provide ad hoc HR admin support (special reports);
  • General Expat support (book local doctor/dentist, bank appointment,...);
  • Preparing termination letters, mutual agreemen etc.;
  • Contacting local authorities on a daily basis for Work permits, Residency permits and Belgian ID cards, and all related extensions or deregistrations;
  • Supporting in payrolling process (input absence, overtime, expenses);
  • Back up for Logistics Assistant during absence.

Profiel

  • You are ASAP available and willing to work fulltime (40h/week);
  • Few years of experience in HR preferably in an international HR department with expats;
  • You are willing to work fulltime from the office in Beveren;
  • Basic knowledge of Belgian payroll setup;
  • Good knowledge of local culture and habits to be Focal Point for foreign employees;
  • Good knowledge of Belgian Labour and Social Law (firstline support);
  • Good understanding of Belgian local authorities and organisations;
  • Ability to work autonomously, problem solver under pressure and handson mentality;
  • Knowledge Dutch is a must and very good knowledge of English;
  • Education: Bachelor level in HR, Social or Business Administration;
  • Very good knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
