**_Als CFO ben je de sparring partner en vertrouwenspersoon voor de CEO van een unieke, hoogtechnologische en groeiende organisatie. Je inspireert en begeleidt je finance team. _**

Samen met je team onderhoud je niet enkel nauwe contacten met de CEO en het management team, maar zijn jullie ook het eerste aanspreekpunt voor onze werknemers voor wat betreft de financiële aspecten van de projectadministratie.

**Functiebeschrijving**:
Als CFO bepaal je het financieel beleid van Flanders Make vzw in samenspraak met de CEO. Concreet sta je in voor:

- **Inzichtelijke rapporten en heldere analyses ter ondersteuning van beslissingen;**:

- Je adviseert en assisteert de CEO in de analyse van de strengths en weaknesses;
- Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor de revisoren, het auditcomité en de Raad van Bestuur;
- Je beheert het opstellen van:

- begroting en financiële analyses van de projecten, incl. controlling;
- financiële rapportering op maandbasis.
- **Een continue pleidooi voor efficiëntie en vooruitgang**:

- Je organiseert en leidt het finance team;
- Je fungeert als "Change manager en inspirator" voor je team én de verschillende interne stakeholders (centraal bureau, core lab's).
- Je kan putten uit eerdere ervaring met het opzetten van digitaliseringsprocessen in finance, en het aansturen van een IT-departement voor de hiertoe ondersteunende ERP- en CRM-structuren;
- Je neemt ook graag de rol als architect van een gedetailleerde kostenopvolging en nacalculatie ter bepaling van correcte pricing policy.
- **Zuivere processen conform de wetgeving en de naleving ervan;**:

- Je implementeert alle relevante financiële regelgevingen in de interne processen;
- Je zorgt voor:

- Cash reporting;
- Treasury management;
- Contacten met de banken;
- Contacten, acties en afspraken met de relevante overheidsinstellingen (bv. VLAIO, EWI, etc.).
- Je kennis over financiële wetgeving & risk management pas je dagelijks toe;
- Je stuurt ook het aankoopdepartement aan en implementeert de aanbestedingsprocedures in het kader van de WOO (wet inzake overheidsopdrachten).

**Profiel**:
Voor deze uitdagende functie zijn we op zoek naar een collega die:

- een master diploma bezit in een economische, juridische of menswetenschappelijke richting;
- beschikt over uitstekende leiderschap-, communicatie
- en organisatorische skills;
- minstens 15 jaar relevante werkervaring kan voorleggen;
- een solide audit/accounting basis combineert met gedegen ervaring als Finance Director/CFO en daarbij;
- deel uitmaakte van het executive team;
- de nodige ervaring heeft opgebouwd in het financieel management van een organisatie (bedrijf of non-profit) in het algemeen en specifiek met analytische boekhouding;
- Zichzelf vooral typeert als:

- Diplomatisch;
- Analytisch;
- Oplossingsgericht;
- Gedreven;
- Coachend.
