Description of the task:
Expert Product Owner with expertise in Programme Management, IT Governance and Portfolio Management
- Works within the agile process and is the final authority for decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the agile team.
- Typically supervises several business analysts.
- Possesses an indepth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the programme/project.
- Interacts and validates requirements with the business and stakeholders.
- Propose solutions by combining IT tools and business process refactoring or improvements based on an indepth understanding of a specific business domain (see skills).
- Creates, maintains, prioritizes, and sequences the product backlog based on business value or return of investment.
- Creates user stories and acceptance tests from themes and features granular enough for a single sprint.
- Is involved in the decisionmaking process related to user stories scheduling into sprints.
- Participates in project planning, daily standup meetings (SCRUM).
- Participates to retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrumrelated meetings.
- Reviews deliverable and demonstrable product functionalities.
- Organizes live demonstration of the product.
- Facilitates the acceptance of the product by the business.
- Develops and maintains standards for testing.
- Provides progress reporting.
- Assists with internal and external communication by improving of transparency. and dissemination of information.
- Assists with prioritization and resolution of issues.
- May perform the role of Scrum master.
Specific Expertise and Technology:
- At least 10 years of specific expertise in Experience in management of large IT portfolio organisation(s).
- At least 5 years of specific expertise in Experience in programme management.
- At least 5 years of specific expertise in Defining, implementing and follow up of IT governance processes, procedures and standards.
- At least 15 years of specific expertise in Customisation and implementation of project/programme/portfolio management methodologies.
- At least 5 years of specific expertise in Experience in IT portfolio reporting.
- At least 10 years of specific expertise in Experience in Agile project management.
- At least 10 years of specific expertise in Good knowledge of agile toolbox (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, BigPicture, Gliffy, Balsamiq, etc.).
- At least 10 years of Good knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle.
- At least 10 years of specific expertise in Experience with large, enterpriselevel multiuser transnational information systems.
Level of Education:
- A Master degree of 5 years or higher education
