IMDC is an international consultancy providing advice upon the development and management of water related projects in the offshore, marine, coastal and river environment.
IMDC provides services to the renewable (offshore wind, wave and tidal energy), power generation (nuclear, gas), transmission infrastructure, navigation, integrated water risk management, ports & harbours, environmental and public sector markets (flood risks, coastal protection).

You will be in close contact with our project leaders in order to deal with all aspects of the financial and contractual side of the projects concerning purchasing.
Your role
- You will be the point of contact concerning the purchasing process at IMDC.
- You will make Purchase Orders to support the project managers during the purchase process.
- You will deal with incoming invoices, fraud check and make sure they are booked on the correct code by our accountants and follow up the reminders.
- You will deal with the expense notes of our employees, approval process and payment.
- You will deal with the invoices of our external service providers and freelancers and followup their hours.
- You will deal with the payment requests and the follow up.
- You will keep our investments in our accountancy up to date.
- You will keep our guarantees up to date.
- You will train, guide and support our project managers to deal with the financial side of the projects.
- You will report to our Financial Manager.
Your profile
- Minimal bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar job.
- Dutch speaking, with good knowledge of English and French.
