As a key player in providing crucial energy services in Belgium, Luminus is committed to ensuring service continuity for its customers and safeguarding their personal data according to GDPR regulations. With a focus on maintaining the security of its network and information systems, Luminus is looking to enhance its security operations by appointing a Senior Information Security Officer and setting up an Information Security Forum.
The Senior Information Security Officer, responsible for the entire Luminus group, will be in charge of:- Identifying and prioritizing cybersecurity risks for reporting to Group executives
- Developing the information security roadmap to address identified risks
- Establishing and enforcing security policies across different entities within the Luminus group
- Recognizing compliance obligations across various departments
The Senior Information Security Officer will delegate policy implementation and security tasks to IT, OT, business departments, and affiliates while overseeing these responsibilities.
To meet these goals, the Senior Information Security Officer will:- Design and implement a cybersecurity strategy aligned with the organization's strategic plan
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a cybersecurity risk management program
- Provide progress reports on the cybersecurity roadmap implementation
- Offer guidance on developing security capabilities to various departments
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and security operations managers
- Provide leadership in integrating security measures seamlessly
- Represent Luminus in interactions with external parties
- Serves as the primary contact for audits
- Supports the operations team during incidents
- Stays updated on technological and business advancements
- Effective communication with technical and nontechnical staff
- Clear articulation of security posture to senior management
- Policies creation reflecting system security objectives
- Proficiency in risk management processes
- Understanding of energy market, IT, OT assets, and technologies
- Extensive knowledge of security technologies, business, and risk management
- Background in information security, IT, or related field
- Master's degree or equivalent knowledge
- Minimum 10 years in information security with 5 years in leadership
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO27001
- Proficiency in English and French
