For one of our clients in the railroad sector, we are looking for a Planner & Program Assistant who will report to their Program Manager about work progress and will provide support on programs & projects management.
As a planner you will:
You drive weekly meetings with project managers to follow and update their detailed planning.
You make the link between Project Managers and Program Managers for the approval of changes
You summarize and communicate in detail changes to Project Managers team
As a Program Assistant you will:
You assist the Program Manager in the management of programs and projects. - You maintain, organize and track the agenda of program meetings.
You maintain and track with the Project Managers the monthly reporting tools.
You maintain and track with the Program Manager the program risks.
You prepare the monthly Project Boards and reporting reviews.
You prepare program steering meetings with the Program Manager.
You collect required information provided by the Project Managers.
You prepare and assist the Program Manager in meetings and maintain minutes of meetings.
You provide support to the Program managers in the gating process management
You distribute the information within and out of the program directorate.
You represent the Program Manager on some activities and act as his/her backup.
You interact with the PMO organisation to suggest and/of follow up project management improvements
You track actions and issues related to Programs and Projects.
You can help Project Managers as a Project Assistant
You are based in Brussels, Belgium. You could travel up to 20%
Criteria
Required:
You are an outgoing person and enjoy diversity in people and tasks.
You are reliable and structured, passionate and learn fast.
You communicate clearly and effectively in French and English both orally and in writing.
You can show 2+ years successful experience in project management and planning management.
You have strong knowledge of a planning management tool, ideally in MS Project.
You have a higher education diploma.
You are familiar with office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Nice to have:
Dutch or any other European language is a plus.
You have a driving license
