INTRODUCTIE:

  • As the magnitude of capital investments in our client's business unit for rechargeable battery materials becomes larger, and the capex structure is getting more global, our client is looking for a Senior Capex Business Analyst to manage those expenditures successfully and ultimately contribute to giving a positive impact on cash management and ROCE.

ORGANISATIE:

  • Supporting the Controlling Team.
  • Responsible for control, analysis and reporting of the capex at various stages of the Project Execution, take part in budgeting, forecasting and Projects reviews, with main Teams goal to strive towards better visibility and accuracy.

FUNCTIE:

GENERAL

  • Support CAPEX controller in implementation of CAPEX controlling roadmap in order to achieve a performant controlling environment.
  • Actively cowork with various CAPEX stakeholders i.e Engineering, Plant Controlling, Accounting etc.).
  • Interface with Business Development Controlling. The Capex Business Analyst has to feed and update frequently the project Capex data to BD Controlling, making himself a contributor to the overall project business plan.
  • Be responsible for CAPEX data, in Budget, Actuals and Forecast.
  • Budget and Forecasting.
  • Support CAPEX forecasting and budgeting processes of the full BU of RBM, over the whole investment cycle.
  • Improve current budget and forecast accuracy towards CAPEX spending.

ACTUALS AND MONTHLY REPORTING

  • Ensuring timeliness of the different spending to alignment with the actual GR.
  • Monitor and report on relevant KPI's.
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis during closing period in comparison with actual vs. budget & forecast.
  • Monthly financial reporting towards the relevant stakeholders.

SYSTEMS & PROJECTS

  • Support implementation, together with the engineering team, a CAPEX planning system.
  • Optimize and set up reporting and follow up structures in SAP and BI.
  • Point of contact for the department's Capex controlling matters i.e actual spend, commitments, forecast and budgets.
  • Close interaction with BP&IT, Engineering, and Finance and controlling and business development within the division.

FUNCTIE-EISEN:

  • A master's degree, preferably in Finance, Business Management or Commercial science.
  • A minimum experience of 3 years mainly in Controlling and Finance.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Good understanding of primary IFRS.
  • You are prepared to travel occasionally.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Team player and good ability to create cross functional partnerships.
  • Simplify & standardization mindset, in order to create a manageable solution for business flows based on templates where possible.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different cultures.
  • Selfmotivated and driven by selfinitiative.
  • Excellent communicator, orally and in writing in a multicultural environment.
  • Digital literate.
