Senior Lead Financial Controlling

You will act as a financial partner for the manager, contributing to the development and monitoring of subsidy and financing files in relation to the multi-year investment plan and performance contract. You will be the point of contact for the subsidizing authorities to obtain necessary funding for investment projects, providing them with the required information. Additionally, you will represent your department in a transversal manner to ensure continuity and optimize the efficiency of services and advice.
Specifically, your tasks include:
- Researching subsidy programs for future projects and building the appropriate arguments in collaboration with financial controllers and operational managers to submit subsidy applications.
- Coordinating the analysis of collaboration agreements, financing contracts, and subsidy programs (e.g. EU) for investment projects to ensure compliance.
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of investment projects to all stakeholders.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of reporting.
- Developing and activating an internal and external network to represent the organization's interests.
- Contributing to defining the department's tactical objectives and priorities, supporting departmental management, and participating in transversal projects.
- Coordinating and supervising team activities, addressing issues to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Coaching and developing employees' competencies to support their growth.
This position is classified as level 3+ (Expert) and class 5 according to the New Reward Plan (NRP).
YOUR PROFILE- You hold a master's degree in economics, finance, or a scientific field.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a large organization.
- You are a specialist in SAP and Excel applications.
- You have general knowledge of financing agreements.
- Knowledge of public-private partnerships is a strong asset.
- You have a broad understanding of Infrabel's activities or are willing to quickly immerse yourself in them.
- You are fluent in one of the two national languages and have a very good command of the other language due to the work environment.
- Given the context of EU subsidies, you have a good command of English.
- You are customer-focused, adept at networking at a high level, and strive for results.
- You can communicate very efficiently, tailored to the target audience.
