Op zoek naar een ervaren Legal Counsel

Als ervaren Legal Counsel ben je een essentieel onderdeel van een hecht en dynamisch juridisch team (van actueel 3 personen) en rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de Head of Legal Belgium.
Jouw belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden zijn:
- Bied praktisch juridisch advies aan het hele bedrijf om naleving van wettelijke vereisten te waarborgen, met een focus op contract- en handelsrecht, gegevensbescherming en ondernemingsrecht.
- Beoordeel en stel diverse contracten en overeenkomsten op (inclusief overeenkomsten met klanten, leveranciers, distributieovereenkomsten en huurovereenkomsten) om de best mogelijke commerciële voorwaarden te verzekeren.
- Beheer en volg de taken met betrekking tot corporate housekeeping.
- Blijf op de hoogte van wetgeving en jurisprudentie in verschillende juridische domeinen die het bedrijf beïnvloeden.
Dit is een generalistische legal counsel functie waar je mee opbouwt om het juridisch departement visibilier te maken naar de business toe
De ideale kandidaat heeft:
- Master in Rechten met kennis van Belgisch recht.
- Tussen 3 en 8 jaar werkervaring in een advocatenkantoor of een internationaal bedrijf.
- Goede beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels (kennis van Frans is een pluspunt).
