IT Specialist for European Commission DG Informatics (DIGIT TM) in Brussels and various locations around Europe.

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
- Participation in the development and maintenance of the existing EESSI components
- Participating in the design and development of the future EESSI components
- Preparing, facilitating, and reporting about the development activities
- Analysing issues reported by EESSI stakeholders and provide fixes in timely manner
- Collaboration with the Business Analyst team and testing team with what relates to quality assurance and quality control processes
- Risk analysis with regards to the development activities and the delivery deadlines
- Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans when needed
- Interaction with other business analysts, business owners, customer, users, project leaders and the other developers in the team

LEVEL OF EDUCATION
- Bachelor's level or 3 years of higher education.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Selfmotivated and autonomous, with ability to manage and follow up on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills, ability to approach problems from multiple angles and find creative solutions
- Proven capacity to analyse complex information, to consider options in a clear and structured way, to propose and implement recommendations and to make sound decisions
- Ability to work effectively both with team members and with customers
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, to make timely decisions, to reprioritize tasks responding to changes in a rapidly evolving work environment
- Rapid selfstarting capability.
