**Taakomschrijving**:
- Het departement PXL-MAD School of Arts, één van de 9 departementen van Hogeschool PXL, biedt als enige in de regio Limburg de afstudeerrichtingen Grafisch Ontwerp, Vrije Kunsten en Juweelontwerp en Edelsmeedkunst aan op academisch niveau. Daarnaast kan je er ook terecht voor de Educatieve master in de audiovisuele en beeldende kunsten. De campus beschikt o.a. over een gloednieuw gebouw met ateliers, bevindt zich dicht bij het stadscentrum van Hasselt en is goed bereikbaar vanuit Brussel, Leuven, Maastricht, Aken en Luik. PXL-MAD, School of Arts, zet in op beeldend denken en communiceren, reflectie, experiment en innovatie (onder meer door het inzetten van nieuwe technologieën en onderzoeksmethoden). De opleiding legt de focus op onderzoekgericht artistiek ontwerpen en/of creëren.
- Voor de opleiding Beeldende Kunsten van het departement PXL-MAD School of Arts, is Hogeschool PXL op zoek naar een** Artistiek docent om de studio Open Senses Lab** inhoudelijk mee vorm te geven. Het atelier Open Senses Lab is een hoofdatelier binnen de afstudeerrichting Vrije kunsten, waarbij de zintuigelijke verbeelding en beleving vooropstaat. Studenten leren zich uit te drukken op een eigenzinnige, authentieke en onderzoekende wijze in het brede spectrum van de zintuigelijke kunsten (waarbij geur, smaak, tast en geluid deel kan uitmaken van het kunstwerk en van de beleving).
- **FUNCTIEOMSCHRIJVING**
Je zal onderwijs verzorgen in de opleiding beeldende kunst van het departement PXL-MAD School of Arts. De onderwijsopdracht situeert zich binnen de afstudeerrichting Vrije Kunsten van de bachelor en masteropleiding Beeldende Kunst PXL-MAD.- Hogeschool PXL heeft als principe dat de volledige onderwijsopdracht door het volledige onderwijsteam wordt gedragen en verwacht de nodige collegialiteit, actieve bijdrage en flexibiliteit van haar medewerkers.
- **Je onderwijsopdracht bestaat uit**:
- Het organiseren en evalueren van atelieronderwijs binnen het atelier van Open Senses Lab, in een combinatie van activerende onderwijsvormen;
- Het mee opvolgen van de bachelor
- en masterprojecten Beeldende kunst;
- Het begeleiden van internationale (master)studenten.
**Je draagt in team bij tot**:
- De uitwerking en uitvoering van het opleidingsconcept en - curriculum;
- De realisatie van de specifieke doelstellingen van het atelier Open Senses Lab, de opleiding en de hogeschool;
- Deelname aan (didactisch) overleg;
- Het verstrekken van informatie aan kandidaat-studenten op de voorziene infomomenten.
**Profiel**:
- Je hebt een artistiek portfolio waarin je kunt aantonen dat je ervaring hebt binnen het brede domein van de zintuigelijke kunsten (geur, smaak, tast, geluid, bij voorkeur in combinatie met performance);- Je hebt een grondige kennis in het registreren en presenteren van artistieke performances;
- Je hebt kennis van het artistiek en cultureel landschap door rechtstreekse participatie aan manifestaties en tentoonstellingen;
- Je kan vlot werken met diverse ICT-toepassingen als word, excel, outlook, en hogeschool specifieke softwarepakketten of bent bereid hierin bij te scholen.
