Als Legal & Compliance Specialist maakt je deel uit van het departement Asset Management bij Ethias, een toonaangevende institutionele belegger met 17 miljard euro aan financiële activa onder beheer.

Je werkt binnen het dynamische "Operations"-team dat de maatregelen implementeert die nodig zijn om ervoor te zorgen dat het departement Asset Management voldoet aan de huidige wetgeving, regelgeving en governance.

Als Legal & Compliance Specialist in Asset Management heb je uiteraard een gevarieerd takenpakket. Je staat in voor het implementeren en opvolgen van:
de regelgevingen
de afstemming op de EMIR-regels (ISDA- en GRMA-contracten...)
de procedures en processen
comités, zoals het Investment Compliance & Legal Committee
de investeringsbeleidslijnen
interne en externe aanbevelingen
de externe en interne beheersmandaten
de uitbesteding aan externe beheerders en fondsbeheerders (naleving van mandaten, inhouding van beheerskosten, controle van ISAE3402-rapporten...)
het updaten van de investeringsbeleidslijnen
de specifieke gedragscode
het beloningsbeleid in het investeringsproces

Kortom, heb je ervaring met én een passie voor de wetten en regelgevende normen die van toepassing zijn op financiële activa ? Dan zou jij wel eens onze kandidaat kunnen zijn

Welke vaardigheden en talenten breng jij mee naar Ethias ?

Je hebt een universitair of gelijkwaardig diploma, bij voorkeur in rechten en financiën, en eerdere ervaring in vermogensbeheer, met name in de juridische en compliance-aspecten van financiële activa.
Je beschikt over goede relationele vaardigheden, communiceert gemakkelijk en efficiënt met je gesprekspartners en kunt zowel in teamverband als zelfstandig werken.
Je bent oplossingsgericht, werkt autonoom, nauwgezet en georganiseerd, met een ongelooflijke analytische en synthetische geest.
Je zorgt ervoor dat doelen tijdig worden gehaald (evenwel zonder hele nachten op te blijven).
Je zin voor communicatie is doelgericht en constructief.
Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands of Frans, en hebt een goede kennis van de andere taal, as well as of English.
