The mission of
Tech Development team is to develop smart synergies & leverage technology to generate opportunities by:

  • Leading the delivery of Technology in support of Ageas strategic Business Development initiatives
  • Cocreating group technology assets delivering recognized added value in cost, speed and quality, while preserving local autonomy
  • Providing group resources locally at the conception and/or in the followup of local key projects
  • Provide second opinion & advisory on key & sizeable projects in Ageas companies
  • Sharing on how technology is applied to grow or expand business
To strengthen the team, we are looking for a
Senior Manager Group Applied Technology.

Your main
responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline technology investments & lead the creation of groupwide digital capabilities. This includes strengthening the digitization of Ageas companies, developing groupwide AI/Generative AI assets, and defining appropriate operating models
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development teams to lead the strategic crossfunctional & strategic initiatives established by Ageas Group
  • Foster a culture of digital innovation & best practices encouraging the adoption & utilization of technologies in the Group
  • Develop & lead projects aimed at driving transformative change to enhance the Group's ability to deliver efficient & highly effective products & services, streamline operations & improve customer experiences, by developing Technology innovations with representatives of the companies of the Group
  • Define and take the necessary actions to secure resources, and identify/define required organizational changes to ensure the integration and sustainability of the described activities. This includes budget allocation, talent acquisition, and restructuring efforts as needed to support technology initiatives
  • Lead or contribute to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for projects that you will lead while enhancing vendor collaboration. This involves managing vendor relationships, evaluating proposals, and selecting partners that align with the Group Technology Development's goals

Je profiel:

  • Master of Civil Engineering, Sciences, Industrial Engineer, Commercial Engineer, IT or similar
  • Relevant experience: Prior experience as a Director / Senior Manager in a reputable consulting company is highly desirable. This experience provides a strong foundation in strategic technology development and management.
  • Leadership and emotional intelligence: Leadership skills and a strong emotional intelligence are essential qualifications. Effective leadership fosters collaboration and innovation, while EQ ensures effective communication and relationship management.
