For many years, climate change has made it clear that we must engage into gradually phasing out fossil fuels. All organizations, especially those in Europe, need an urgent energy revolution given the current geopolitical climate. Our novel process relies on current, tried-and-true technologies while importing substantial amounts of reasonably priced renewable energy.We will transform sun and wind into sustainable and cost-effective eNG (electric natural gas), combining green H2 and circular CO2 and using existing infrastructure to deliver green, secure energy.
We are creating the world's largest green energy value chain.To deliver on its ambitions TES is currently building a world class top management team. In parallel the organization is growing from 50+ employees today to several hundred by the end of next year.
What you will do:
As Junior Financial Controller, you will:
- Review and input purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Review and input invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Take responsibility for the expense notes process, including inputting and validating expense notes.
- Challenge reported expenses to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Conduct daily followup of treasury activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions.
- Provide support to accountants in the setup of annual accounts.
- Understand the financial statements and challenge when necessary to ensure accuracy.
- Familiarize yourself with the budget and effectively communicate with stakeholders to address discrepancies or variances.
- Demonstrate proficiency in IT tools and assist in the implementation of new finance software.
- Assist with the audit process, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and providing necessary documentation.

Who you are:
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in finance or a related field, providing you with a solid foundation in financial principles and concepts.
- You have preferably gained previous experience in accounting, controlling, or audit roles.
- You have exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reviewing and analyzing financial documents, invoices, and expense reports.
- You thrive under pressure: In a fastpaced work environment, you remain calm and composed, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining the highest level of quality and accuracy.
- You are willing to go the extra mile: You exhibit a strong work ethic, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional results and contribute to the success of the finance team.
- You have the ability to think analytically and critically, questioning assumptions and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Relevant certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CMA, is a plus.
