ROLE
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audienceTake a brief to grasp production team's needs and specificationsReview shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuityTrim footage segments and put together the sequence of the filmInput music, dialogues, graphics and effectsCreate rough and final cutsEnsure logical sequencing and smooth runningContinuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.Respond to user feedback and client feedback to improve the creative work in future iterationsPROFILE
Strong technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of software (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, 2D/3D animation, and Finalcut and Adobe Premiere pro )The ability to partner with other creative team members to create content used across a variety of platforms (Youtube , Facebook , Instagram, TikTok )Able to work in a fast paced environment and have strong project management skillsBe a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlinesProven work experience as a Video Editor and motion graphic designerSolid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. , Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolioThorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuityFamiliarity with special effects, 3D and compositing - 3D Blender knowledge considered a strong pointCreative mind and storytelling skillsOFFER
