Je voldoet tevens aan de toelatingsvoorwaarden beschreven onder onderafdeling 3 van het doctoraatsreglement beschikbaar op de volgende link: Nota: wij staan ook open voor studenten die een masterdiploma in de Wiskunde, Statistiek, Informatica, of gelijkwaardig hebben behaald en die interesse hebben om hun kennis te verbreden binnen het domein van accounting en finance.Je hebt grote belangstelling voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek en goede statistische vaardigheden.Je hebt een goede kennis van het Engels en een vlotte schrijfstijl.Je beschikt over vaardigheden om op kritische wijze literatuur te analyseren.Je durft te presenteren voor een publiek (e.g. wetenschappelijk congres, werkcolleges).Je bent leergierig en gemotiveerd om je inhoudelijk en methodologisch bij te scholen.De Onderzoekseenheid Accountancy, Finance en Insurance van de Faculteit Economie en Bedrijfswetenschappen is op zoek naar een bursaal voor een doctoraal onderzoek met als onderwerp de externe auditmarkt en corporate governance.Van de kandidaat wordt verwacht dat hij/zij:Diepgaand onderzoek uitvoert naar onderwerpen gerelateerd aan externe audits en/of corporate governance.Samenwerkt met faculteitsleden en andere onderzoekers aan verschillende onderzoeksprojecten.Deel neemt aan academische en departementale activiteiten, waaronder seminars, workshops en (inter)nationale conferenties.Onderzoeksresultaten publiceert in hoogwaardige academische tijdschriften.Ondersteuning biedt bij het geven van bachelor- en/of mastervakken zoals vereist door de afdeling.Bachelor- en/of masterthesissen begeleidt op de campus in Brussel.Wij zijn de onderzoekseenheden Accounting, Financiën en Verzekeringen aan de KU Leuven. Onze medewerkers streven naar kwalitatief hoogstaand onderzoek en onderwijs op het gebied van audit, (management) accounting, tax, banking, investment en actuariële wetenschappen.Voltijdse aanstelling voor 1 jaar, verlengbaar na tussentijdse, positieve evaluaties met 3 jaar. De kandidaat is tewerkgesteld op Campus Brussel van de Faculteit Economie en Bedrijfswetenschappen van KU Leuven.
