The Payroll & Compensation Associate is responsible for the correct payroll and benefits administration by respecting all known laws and regulations, taking cost efficiency and effectiveness into account.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Performs the assigned Country's monthly salary administration, ensuring timely and correct payments, are calculated according to relevant law provisions
  • Follows up mandatory and secondary benefits allowing for a fair benefit management
  • Supervises the personnel Headcount and fulltime equivalent (FTE) reports for the assigned Country, and its employer's cost sheet and collects the data to guarantee a reliable basis for costs calculation
  • Provides efficient personnel administration of each assigned Country by registration of holidays, educational leaves, illness, etc.; filing of social and payroll documents, registration of hired/concluded personnel; yearly calculations of holidays, etc.
  • Ensures safe working conditions by acting as a prevention advisor, declaring and following up on job accidents, and organizing medical examinations for the assigned Country
  • Guarantees efficient communication with the accounting department by answering questions regarding the booking of payroll documents, invoices, payments, etc.
  • Supports the Heads/Directors of Units/Departments and employees for advisement and updated information regarding payroll, time credit possibilities, insurance's, subsidiaries, holiday pay
  • Provides continuous monitoring and updating of Country applicable labour regulations and law
  • Acts as the local HR Representative for each Country assigned to him/her and follows the directions/indications by the Head of the HR Management & Administration Unit (HRMAUH) on any additional project/task assigned accordingly
  • Participating in international HR projects

Education and Experience:

  • Commercial vocational training or a university degree in Business Administration or Social Sciences
  • A minimum of 2 years of Payroll and Compensation management and HR experience
  • Experience working with payroll or within Human Resources on an international level would be beneficial
  • Fluent in English and local language(s)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook) and local Payroll systems
  • Willingness to travel
