Food Warehousing & Distribution (FWD) staat in voor een integrale logistieke dienstverlening voor Pauwels Sauzen.
Onze magazijnen zijn speciaal uitgerust voor droge en geconditioneerde opslag. Onze kernactiviteiten zijn talrijk. FWD neemt de hele toeleveringsketen van verladers (of producenten) over. Dat is één van onze specialiteiten.
Zo kunnen bedrijven zich nog meer richten op hun core business. Wij nemen de toeleveringsketen integraal over: non-food (verpakkingsmateriaal) afroepen, de voorraad monitoren, bestelopdrachten genereren, THT-bewaking, VAL-activiteiten, inslag, opslag, colli picking, pallet picking, transport, distributie, facturering... FWD is gespecialiseerd in de voedingsindustrie en kent dus het klappen van de zweep in deze sector.

**Operations Support**
HANDS-ON TEAMPLAYER MET EEN PASSIE VOOR LOGISTIEK, PLANNING EN WAREHOUSE
**Functie**:
- Als Operations Support fungeer je als de rechterhand van de Warehouse & Distribution Manager op het gebied van coördinatie, organisatie en uitvoering van de operationele werkzaamheden in de interne magazijnen om de continuïteit te waarborgen. Dit in lijn met het vooropgesteld beleid en rekening houdend met procedures omtrent hygiëne, kwaliteit, milieu en veiligheidsvoorschriften en een optimale inzet van mensen en middelen:
- Je werkt mee aan het behalen van de KPI's en doelstellingen van de afdelingen.
- Je assisteert bij optimalisaties en acties om de efficiëntie in de operations te verhogen.
- Je staat in voor een professionele interne en externe communicatie en zorgt voor de doorvertaling binnen de organisatie naar de verschillende doelgroepen.
- Je volgt de werkzaamheden op die uitgevoerd worden door transporteurs en leveranciers conform de contractuele afspraken.
- Je zorgt voor duurzame contacten met klanten en bespreekt aanpassingen op vraag van de klant met de Warehouse & Distribution Manager.
- Je staat mee in voor het motiveren, ontwikkelen en aansturen van de medewerkers i.s.m. de Warehouse & Distribution Manager. Je zorgt ervoor dat de procedures en voorschriften correct nageleefd worden en stelt een efficiënte personeelsplanning op.
- Je voert sollicitatiegesprekken met arbeiders en bespreekt het functioneren van de medewerkers met HR en de Warehouse & Distribution Manager. Je zorgt ervoor dat de HR procedures tijdig en correct opgevolgd worden.
- Bij afwezigheid van de Warehouse & Distribution Manager ben jij het eerste aanspreekpunt.
- Je geeft opleiding aan de medewerkers en uitzendkrachten over de magazijnwerkzaamheden, kwaliteit, veiligheid en het ERP-pakket (Microsoft Dynamics). Je zorgt er eveneens voor dat de werkinstructies en procedures up to date blijven.
- Je biedt ondersteuning aan de ploegleiders bij het oplossen van diverse vragen en problemen in de dagdagelijkse werking.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de opvolging van klachten en neemt gepaste acties. Je stelt o.a. corrigerende maatregelen op en optimaliseert de bestaande procedures
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor alle inbound en je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt in geval van problemen en vragen hierover.
- Je staat in voor de opvolging van de accuraatheid van de voorraad.
- Je volgt de naleving van kwaliteitsprocedures op en bespreekt kwaliteitsissues en actiepunten op periodieke basis met de kwaliteitscoördinator. Je neemt ook deel aan interne en externe audits.
- Je hebt affiniteit met veiligheid op de werkvloer, hiervoor heb je reeds een opleiding gevolgd voor preventieadviseur niveau 3 of sta je open om deze te volgen.
- Je rapporteert aan de Warehouse & Distribution Manager.
**Profiel**:
- Je behaalde een bachelor diploma en je kan minimum 2 jaar ervaring aantonen in een gelijkaardige functie bij voorkeur in een logistieke omgeving.
- Je bezit goede sociale vaardigheden en een "no-nonsense en hands-on" mentaliteit.
- Je bent assertief en in staat mensen te overtuigen zodat ze zich betrokken voelen.
- Je kan ook duidelijk communiceren op alle niveaus binnen en buiten de organisatie o.a. met maatwerkbedrijven, leveranciers, transporteurs;
- Je bent flexibel ingesteld en blijft dankzij je stressbestendigheid steeds kwaliteitsbewust.
- Je bent proactief, resultaatgericht en hebt een sterk probleemoplossend vermogen.
- Naast het Nederlands heb je een goede mondelinge en schriftelijke kennis van het Engels.
