The Role


Are you passionate about new innovations and eager to design sustainable oil-free compressors? Within Industrial Air, we are looking for you as an energetic and motivated designer.

Together with a team of project leaders, project engineers and technical experts, you will design the next generation of our water-injected and scroll compressors according to internal guidelines and proposed product specifications.

You are responsible for the full design from conceptual to production phases.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be:

  • Optimize the design for functionality and cost
  • Design in accordance with internal guidelines and product specifications
  • Consider ease of assembly and serviceability as important design parameters
  • Interact in Project Team Meetings (PTMs)
  • Maintain and improve designs of existing products
  • Support in delivering the part lists and instructions
  • Be aware of safety guidelines and quality of the design
  • Build expertise in materials selection, design for assembly,
  • Work in an international organization where communication and cooperation are crucial

What we expect of you?

Knowledge

  • General technical background in mechanics, assembly, manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of CAD software Inventor

Educational requirements

  • Bachelor electromechanics, Industrial engineer or equivalent by experience
