DEME General HR Worldwide Apply nowYour responsibilitiesYour profileOur offer Within the HR crewing department, you are the point of contact for all operational crewing matters. Your main task is the planning of the crew, with a view to the performance of the ship and taking into account the ambitions of our seafarers. You ensure that all the legal requirements concerning crewing quotas, safe manning, recording of days sailed, training courses, etc. are fulfilled. Maintaining daily contact with crew members on board and at home, arranging flights and visas, updating planning schedules (including training courses). You are a "people" person. You are an enthusiastic colleague who has an eye for detail and who is willing to take responsibilities. You are stress resilient and you can keep the overview; You are open minded, communicative and fluent in English A first professional experience in planning or a similar job in HR is an advantage, not a must. Experience at sea or affinity with the seafaring life or the maritime world in general is an advantage, not a must. You are prepared to work in a rotational schedule A master or bachelor degree is an advantage, not a must. As a Waterboss/Marine Superintendent, you are responsible for the floating auxiliary equipment on our dredging projects:
multicats, pontoons, anchors, sinkers and floating line movements. You monitor all activities on the water.

As a Category Buyer at DEME Group, we currently have an open position in each of the following procurement categories: Chartering, Facilities, General Goods & Services, and Machinery Equipment. In this role, you will manage procurement processes, develop and maintain supplier networks, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with our procurement standards. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and the Category Manager, you will support the implementation of sourcing strategies.
