De compliancefunctie ziet toe op de naleving van de wetten en reglementeringen die op de banksector van toepassing zijn om de reputatie van de bank en haar medewerkers te beschermen. Ze is volledig onafhankelijk en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de CEO van BNPPF.
Het team Fiscal Deontology maakt deel uit van het domein Financial Security en speelt een strategische rol om tegemoet te komen aan de verwachtingen van de Nationale Bank op het gebied van de bestrijding van belastingontduiking door regels voor voorbeeldig gedrag binnen BNP Paribas Fortis te verspreiden.
**Jouw toekomstige job**
Als Verantwoordelijke Fiscal Deontology heb je de volgende taken:
- je staat in voor de effectieve implementatie van het **fiscaal preventiebeleid** binnen de bank en de voortdurende bijwerking ervan in het licht van de evoluties ter zake;
- je controleert de correcte toepassing van de policy's met betrekking tot de **internationale regelgeving** (FATCA/QI, AEOI, DAC6);
- je neemt deel aan de **rapporteringsoefeningen** over fiscale onderwerpen en biedt je gespecialiseerde expertise aan voor de zelfevaluatie van de risico's van de bank (RCSA, EWRA);
- je superviseert voor Compliance het** controlesysteem** voor fiscale onderwerpen door na te gaan of de betreffende controles en actieplannen, die op basis van de resultaten bepaald moeten worden, correct zijn uitgevoerd;
- je vervult een **analytische en adviserende **rol voor onze Compliance
- of Business-collega's in specifieke dossiers als er een vermoeden van fiscale aard is;
- je volgt de** actualiteit en projecten** op die een impact kunnen hebben op de bank en stelt de daarmee samenhangende aanpassingen voor.
Je rol veronderstelt **talrijke contacten** met verschillende stakeholders binnen de bank (Business, functies, Legal, Tax enz.) en een **actieve deelname** aan de vergaderingen en stuurcomités.
Binnen de groep BNP Paribas ben je ook **de contactpersoon van BNP Paribas Fortis** in de Compliance-gemeenschap voor wat betreft de internationale regelgeving. Zo zul je moeten samenwerken met medewerkers van de Groep en met collega's in andere entiteiten van de groep.
Het is dus een zeer dynamische job die je te wachten staat, met veel interactie en contactpunten in de verschillende domeinen van de bank.

- Je hebt een masterdiploma met specialisatie fiscaliteit of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
- Je spreekt vlot Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
- Je weet goed wat risicocultuur is en benadert dit met een analytische geest en veel 'gezond verstand'.
- Je bent proactief, kunt zelfstandig werken en beslissingen nemen binnen een vooraf bepaald kader, waarbij je efficiënt en snel communiceert met je management.
- Je communiceert vlot, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling.
- Je stelt de (interne en externe) klanten centraal en houdt rekening met ieders eisen, zonder evenwel afbreuk te doen aan je onafhankelijkheid of de voorbeeldfunctie van de bank op fiscaal vlak.
