This ethos, combined with our dedication to local communities, makes working at Puratos truly special.To enhance our team in Groot Bijgaarden, we are searching for a:Product Manager – Patisserie MixesAs part of the Business Unit Patisserie Mixes, you will lead the product management tasks for our Patisserie Mixes globally from our base in Groot-Bijgaarden, Brussels.Aligned with the overall Puratos strategy and in collaboration with business partners, your responsibilities include:
  • Defining and implementing the product strategy per channel & per market
  • Managing the product portfolio
  • Driving product-related business development
  • Leading the product innovation/renovation
Together with your R&D counterpart, you will strive to achieve business goals (growth & profitability) to meet the annual budget and long-term plan.Key Accountabilities
  • Collecting, analyzing, and utilizing market intelligence from various sources to identify potential business impacts
  • Developing and executing the product strategy aligned with Markets/Channels/Operations to achieve competitive positioning and business objectives
  • Overseeing the product portfolio (profitability optimization, pricing, SKU management, etc.) and all aspects of the marketing mix
  • Monitoring sales performance and proposing corrective actions or acceleration plans
  • Actively supporting business development through customer engagement, training, and best practice sharing
  • Creating sales and product communication tools aligned with the Group's strategy
  • Managing the Innovation pipeline following the Stage & Gate process for future differentiation
  • Nurturing relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to promote the product vision
  • Collaborating with operations on CAPEX discussions and optimizations
Skills
  • Holding a Business or Marketing degree with 5 years of relevant product management experience & emphasizing communication. Experience in an international B2C setting is advantageous.
  • Demonstrating strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to handle multiple projects under pressure and deadlines
  • Being data-driven, curious, digitally savvy, and inspired by the diversity of local consumer cultures in food
  • Having a mindset to win, being intensely customer-centered, and committed to continuous improvement with a focus on delivering superior value and innovations in products & services
  • Possessing a passion for food and striving to comprehend the technical aspects of food creation, facilitating effective communication with R&D and Operations
  • Proficient in English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time
