Manager Simcenter Pre/Post Product Management

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived, analyzed and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of experienced product managers for Simcenter Mechanical Pre/Post applications.
  • Define and execute the overall strategy of Simcenter Mechanical Pre/Post applications. This includes Simcenter 3D Desktop and Simcenter FEMAP applications.
  • Collaborate with other product managers on the overall mechanical product strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, field support and development to define key functionalities that deliver significant value to the customer.
  • Conduct onboarding processes, ensuring new hires are set up for success and equipped with the necessary resources and training.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee engagement, morale, and teamwork.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to employees, addressing performance gaps and recognizing achievements.
  • Implement career development plans and provide opportunities for skill-building and growth within the organization.
  • Address employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and standard processes in people management, implementing relevant strategies to drive employee satisfaction and retention
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related technical field. Masters or PhD preferred.
  • Proven experience as a software Product Manager.
  • Solid understanding of management principles, including performance management, coaching, and team development.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain an elevated level of professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Passion for technology and a desire to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
  • Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
Location: Belgium, Italy, France, Spain, Poland, Netherlands, Hungary or Romania.
