Manage a comprehensive facility operations program.Utilize various types of software applications to assist in tracking maintenance.Establish a budget to support the assigned facilities operations, maintenance, and repair plans.Develop a comprehensive program that includes maintenance and repair, custodial and grounds maintenance.Assist facility engineer with analysis of facility space management.Maintain contracting officer's representative (COR) on current contracts.Conduct technical briefings and presentations clearly and concisely to groups and individuals.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentMale applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.Direct deposit of pay is required.One trial or probationary period may be required.Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation.This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.Must be able to satisfy the requirements of the 26JUL12 DODI V1230, DoD Civilian Personnel Management System: Employment in Foreign Areas and Employee Return Rights. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes evaluating the conditions of facility components to determine maintenance needs, custodial services, or grounds maintenance; monitoring budget expenditures for facility projects; and managing service order requests. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
