We are always on the lookout for Presales Architects specializing in Datacenter/Cloud to join our dynamic Solution Sales Team.
At Computacenter, a Presales Architect plays a crucial role in overseeing the architecture, technical engineering, and implementation of technology throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
The primary responsibility is to provide technical leadership and make decisions on critical aspects of the solution being developed.
As a result, the technical architect collaborates closely with key stakeholders within the customer organization and across various Computacenter departments. This includes interacting with teams such as PS operations, Solutions, Sales, and Internal sales...
What you'll do
The Presales Architect within the Computacenter Digital Power portfolio (Datacenter/Cloud) is instrumental in defining and enhancing the solutions portfolio by:
- Being the primary face of Computacenter towards strategic vendors
- Staying updated on technological advancements and innovations, assessing their relevance to Computacenter's business and customer use cases
- Offering insights on the vendor strategy and guiding the attainment of necessary accreditations in collaboration with GPM, sales management, and consultants
- Serving as a Computacenter technology advocate, delivering updates internally and externally about our portfolio
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with peers throughout the Computacenter Group (e.g., CCUK, CCDE, CCUS...)
The Presales Architect also participates in the pre-sales stages of our opportunities by:
- Analyzing customer requirements, identifying, and developing suitable solutions based on our proactive vendor portfolio
- Creating technical support materials for our sales opportunities
During the post-sales phases, the Presales Architect is involved in the following responsibilities:
- Owning the technical aspects of our solution delivery and implementation, ensuring technical agreements are met
- Serving as a technical escalation point for customers and consultants
- Conducting quality assurance throughout the solution implementation until project sign-off and handover to customer operational teams
- Providing feedback to our Customer Success Managers on ongoing initiatives to monitor and drive adoption and expansion of our footprint with customers
You will:
- Participate in customer meetings to identify requirements and propose solutions within the solution area
- Maintain relevant sales and presales vendor accreditations. Stay well-informed about strategic vendor portfolios within the solution area - through training, self-learning, and attending industry events
- Offer support and guidance for the PS Ops consultants affiliated with the solution area
- Stay informed about the broader market and industry trends related to the solution area
What you'll need
To ensure a solution functions effectively, scales well, and meets requirements, it must have a meticulously planned architecture that considers various technical and business aspects. The long-term success of any project depends on the input of a Presales Architect; therefore, you should have:
- Extensive experience in a similar role. Broad technical expertise and leading industry knowledge in relevant technology areas and the broader market
- Strong writing skills with the ability to contribute valuable insights to technical and commercial documents
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of explaining complex technological solutions
- Effective stakeholder management capabilities
- Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English
