Manufacturing Supervisor

Our client is a leading manufacturer of metalworking molds and tools, renowned for their precision, design improvement advice, and problem-solving abilities. Currently, we're seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor with extensive experience in machine technologies. Are you interested?

• Main responsibilities:
• Lead and coach team members to achieve maximum productivity and quality, aligned with department goals.
• Coordinate work schedules considering department capacity and expertise, collaborating with other departments when necessary.
• Manage team members to achieve optimal department performance and objectives.
• Monitor, coach, and develop team members on a daily basis.
• Manage machinery, including maintenance, repairs, and replacements, in collaboration with external vendors.
• Support the implementation of TEOA (Total Efficiency and Organizational Advancement) within the department, focusing on monitoring KPIs.
• Responsible for internal and external reporting and communication related to the tool workshop.
• Maintain safety standards throughout all operations.
• Actively seek innovation and continuous improvement, providing technical support within and outside the team.
• Stay informed about developments in the field.
• Your profile:
• Hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in Industrial Sciences, specializing in (electro)mechanics, or demonstrate equivalent qualifications through experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in leadership or management positions, preferably in a technical production environment.
• Demonstrate precision and a proactive work ethic.
• Capable of making independent decisions and effectively solving problems.
• Possess strong coordination and communication skills, with a proven track record in leading and motivating teams.
• Have a pragmatic and results-oriented approach, supported by analytical thinking and a creative problem-solving mindset.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English; knowledge of German is considered a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of machine technologies for parts manufacturing.
• Excellent spatial insight in 2D and 3D concepts.
• Familiarity with form, place, and position tolerances.
• Experience with software such as SAP, Excel, Pro Engineer/Creo, or similar programs is appreciated.
