We need a Managing DirectorTo further shape our growth, we are looking for an Enterprising Managing Director to work withthe Executive Board to operationally implement the growth objectives.
Your functionAs Managing Director, you will have ultimate responsibility for the entire organisation and take thelead in preparing Metaplex for the next 50 years.
You manage the company in all areas and becomethe face of the company both internally and externally.Together with the Board of Directors, you will determine Metaplex's vision and future internationalstrategy. The focus will be on growth and further professionalisation through, among other things,digitalisation to build a "laser-focused " organisation.
- You translate the strategy into concrete objectives and actions.
- Together with the team, you build efficient operational processes so that customers gettop service at all times.
- You take the lead in the further computerisation and digitalisation of the operational andcommercial flow. The further expansion of our ERP system (Odoo) is also a project you
- You take care of the necessary monthly management reporting, budgeting & forecastingand are assisted in this by an external accountant.
- You are responsible for the HR policy, focusing on retaining current talent in theorganisation and attracting new top talent.
- As a people manager with a hands-on mentality, you are close to your employees;presence on the floor, creating support for change and stimulating a positive workingatmosphere are inherent to your role as SME manager.
- You are very commercially minded and enjoy winning deals by providing customers withthe best possible experience or customer journey.
- From your interest, you keep your finger on the pulse of the international market; youspot new trends, developments or questions from the (international) market andinvestigate how Metaplex can play a role in this to create business.
- You detect opportunities for innovation and development and build on existingrelationships with partners.
- You monitor the quality of the products and services offered.
- You report to the Executive Board, of which you are a member.
- You are a driven entrepreneur with 6 to 10 years of management experience in a madeto-order production or assembly environment. Experience in the sector or relatedbusiness is an important asset.
- You can present a successful track record within an SME environment or Business Unit inwhich growth and professionalisation are key.
- Thanks to your involvement, commitment and hands-on attitude, you know how toquickly win the trust of your employees. As a coach, you can take your team to the nextlevel.
- You combine strong strategic insight with sufficient pragmatism, a focus on results andnumerical know-how.
- People appreciate you for your integrity, positive mind-set and ambition.
- Feeling for the market and intrinsic interest in Metaplex's business are self-evident.
