Word lid van ons dynamische team als Research Lab Assistant Baking en stap in de wereld van innovatie. In dit team voer je bakproeven uit volgens specifieke procedures en vergaar je wetenschappelijke kennis. Als essentieel lid van onze R&D-afdeling krijg je de kans om verschillende heerlijke ingrediënten te onderzoeken en mee te experimenteren, met de focus op het ontwikkelen van gezondere en duurzamere producten, om zo de toekomst van bakkerijproducten te beïnvloeden.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

Jouw taken in deze rol:

  • Onderzoek van nieuwe ingrediënten in diverse bakkerijproducten, zoals brood, stokbrood, croissants, etc.
  • Uitvoeren van bakproeven en nauw samenwerken met onze onderzoeksmanagers, die vertrouwen op jouw expertise bij het ontwikkelen van producten. Jouw nauwkeurigheid in het bakproces is van cruciaal belang voor het succes van hun projecten.
  • Verantwoordelijk voor het gehele bakproces, van ingrediënten voorbereiden tot zorgvuldig mengen en bakken.
  • Analyseren van volume, textuur en sensorische eigenschappen van bakkerijproducten en organiseren van organoleptische beoordelingen met de onderzoeksmanagers.
  • Aandacht voor detail, strikte naleving van bestaande recepten en processen en handhaving van de hoogste kwaliteits- en consistentienormen.
  • Bijdragen aan de evolutie van recepten en methoden, waarbij je flexibel bent naar projectvereisten en nieuwe technologische ontwikkelingen in de bakkerijsector.
  • Schrijven van uitgebreide analyses met samenvattingen van bakproeven, observaties en conclusies. Directe communicatie met de onderzoeksmanagers en effectieve overdracht van bevindingen in het Engels.
  • Effectief samenwerken met collega's over afdelingen heen en bevorderen van kennisdeling en innovatie.
  • Ook bijdragen aan het goed functioneren van het Testcentrumteam (veiligheid, onderhoud, organisatie).

Naar wie zijn we op zoek?

  • Je hebt een bachelordiploma in levensmiddelenchemie, levensmiddelentechnologie of voeding en diëtetiek of een bakkerijopleiding met relevante ervaring (R&D, levensmiddelentechnologie).
  • Goed georganiseerd, flexibel en teamgericht. Oprechte interesse in het bakproces en nieuwe technologieën in de bakkerij/patisseriesector.
  • Nauwkeurig en systematisch werken, vertrouwd met standaard IT-toepassingen (Word en Excel).
  • Goede kennis van Engels voor interne communicatie en rapportage. Vloeiend Nederlands en/of Frans is een plus.
