You preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree or have an equivalent level of professional experience. You have a very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. A good knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an advantage.You are proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications.You have a keen interest in internationalisation, global development and higher education.You are very accurate in your work and have a good eye for deadlines.You follow procedures to the letter and handle confidential information with discretion.You are communicative, customer-focused and have a service-minded attitude.You are committed and passionate about your job, and you work in a proactive way. You can solve problems and deal with unexpected obstacles.You are motivated to work in a self-organising team. You are flexible and a team player. Experience of managing the operational financial aspects of complex projects is recommended.You will be responsible for the efficient and accurate administrative and financial follow-up of international projects (pre- and post-award management). For this purpose, you will work in close collaboration with your colleagues in the International Projects Team:
You will assist in the submission of projects in accordance with the guidelines of the funder. In order to do this, you will work with the Finance Department and the Legal Department.You will follow up on the signing of contracts, letters of mandate, declarations of honour, etc. You will be proactive in monitoring and adjusting the website.You will announce calls. You will monitor and adjust project resources and budgets in the context of international partnerships.You will carry out financial transactions.You will meet with the team on a regular basis to ensure that tasks and deadlines are being properly followed up. At peak times, you will be prepared to assist your colleagues working on other projects.This includes proactively sharing your expertise, identifying and exploring opportunities for coordination, suggesting process improvements, helping to develop an internal quality management system, and monitoring the various projects.

Grade 7 is reserved for exceptional candidates who have the knowledge and experience to take on additional responsibilities from the outset.
