Job Overview

The Graphic, UX, and Motion Designer at Emeria Benelux will be instrumental in crafting visually engaging, intuitive digital experiences across our website, mobile applications, and digital marketing channels. This role combines expertise in graphic design, UX/UI, and motion graphics to produce compelling visuals that bring the Emeria brand to life and resonate with our diverse audience. The ideal candidate is both a creative problem-solver and a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.Key Responsibilities

  • Graphic and Visual Design

    • Create high-quality visual assets, including illustrations, infographics, and iconography, for use across web, mobile, and social media channels.
    • Design visually engaging marketing materials, such as banners, brochures, and presentations, that align with Emeria's brand guidelines.
    • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to maintain brand consistency and ensure a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.

  • UX/UI Design

    • Design user-friendly interfaces and experiences for our web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive customer journey.
    • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and optimize the user experience.
    • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders.

  • Motion Graphics and Video Content

    • Create motion graphics and animations for digital advertising, social media, and video content to enhance customer engagement.
    • Work closely with the content and digital marketing teams to produce short-form video content, explainer animations, and interactive visuals.
    • Experiment with creative animation techniques to add an extra layer of dynamism to Emeria's digital channels.

  • Collaboration and Cross-functional Work

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, development, and marketing, to align on creative goals and ensure smooth implementation.
    • Engage in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas and design perspectives for upcoming campaigns and product launches.
    • Participate in feedback sessions and iterative design reviews to refine and enhance designs based on input from stakeholders.

  • Stay Current with Design Trends and Best Practices

    • Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and UX/UI best practices to ensure Emeria remains at the forefront of digital experiences.
    • Identify and suggest innovative ways to improve Emeria's digital presence, incorporating new design tools and techniques as appropriate.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Digital Media, or related field.

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, UX/UI design, and motion graphics, ideally within a digital marketing or technology-focused environment.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing design work across graphic, UX, and motion design projects, with a clear emphasis on digital platforms.

  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, Sketch, or similar design and prototyping tools.
    • Expertise in UX/UI design, including wireframing, prototyping, and user research.
    • Strong understanding of animation principles and experience creating motion graphics.
    • Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
    • Excellent attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Fluent in English and at least one other language common in the Benelux region (Dutch or French is highly preferred).
