Je werkt nauw samen met het ontwikkelingsteam en bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen en implementeren van een effectieve interface. We hechten veel waarde aan de ontwikkeling van een interface die niet alleen intuïtieve bruikbaarheid hoog in het vaandel heeft staan, maar ook uitblinkt in zijn vermogen om grote hoeveelheden gegevens effectief te presenteren op een manier die gemakkelijk te begrijpen is voor gebruikers.Door je aan te sluiten bij ons team krijg je de kans om een significante impact te hebben door ons simulatiemodel toegankelijk te maken en gebruikers in staat te stellen het volledige potentieel ervan te benutten. Dit alles zorgt ervoor dat we beter voorbereid zijn op toekomstige pandemieën en hedendaagse gezondheidsuitdagingen.Aan de Faculteit Economie en Bedrijfskunde (FEB) van de KU Leuven is het Access-To-Medicines (ATM) Research Centre betrokken bij het bieden van inzichten en beslissingsondersteuning over onderwerpen zoals toegang tot vaccins, geneesmiddelen, diagnostica en informatie om gezondheid en welzijn (SDG3) op een rechtvaardige en duurzame manier te verbeteren. Ons transdisciplinair onderzoeksteam onder leiding van dr. Catherine Decouttere en prof. dr. Nico Vandaele wil bijdragen aan uitdagingen op het gebied van volksgezondheid en One Health met een focus op infectieziekten, verwaarloosde tropische ziekten, paraatheid voor pandemieën en chronische ziekten in Afrika en Europa. Het ATM-team van PhD- en post-doconderzoekers vertegenwoordigt een diversiteit aan achtergronden die worden ingezet bij het modelleren van gezondheidssystemen, medicijnontwikkeling en -productie, gezondheidszoekgedrag en gezondheidsimpact. Onze onderzoeksaanpak is gebaseerd op systeemdenken, betrokkenheid van belanghebbenden en simulatiemodellering van complexe systemen. ProjectHet Access-To-Medicines Research Centre heeft een state-of-the-art kwantitatief simulatiemodel ontwikkeld voor de productie van vaccins. De huidige toegankelijkheid van ons model wordt belemmerd door de afhankelijkheid van een commando prompt interface. Als antwoord op deze uitdaging zijn we op zoek naar een programmeur voor het ontwerp en de ontwikkeling van een gebruiksvriendelijke webinterface en interactie-ervaring.In deze rol speel je een cruciale rol in het overbruggen van de kloof tussen onze geavanceerde simulatiemogelijkheden en de eindgebruikers. Je primaire doel is het ontwerpen en implementeren van een gebruikerservaring inclusief een webinterface die het interactieproces stroomlijnt, zodat gebruikers van alle achtergronden gemakkelijk gegevens kunnen invoeren, modelsimulaties kunnen uitvoeren en resultaten kunnen interpreteren. Je zult ook online trainingsmateriaal ontwikkelen voor het gebruik van de interface.Wij bieden een fulltime job aan voor een jaar, mogelijk verlengbaar. Ben je onmiddellijk inzetbaar in alle opdrachten van deze functie dan start je in graad 6. Indien je nog niet alle opdrachten meteen kan opnemen of nog een specifiek opleidingstraject moet doorlopen start je in graad 5. Graad 7 is uitzonderlijk weggelegd voor personen die reeds van bij de start, omwille van doorgedreven kennis en ervaring, extra verantwoordelijkheden kunnen opnemen. Startdatum: zo snel mogelijk. Je komt terecht in een dynamische en motiverende werkomgeving in een groeiend multidisciplinair team dat voornamelijk actief is in Europa en Afrika. Je werkt samen met internationale organisaties en belanghebbenden. De historische universiteit, opgericht in 1425, heeft een top onderzoeks- en onderwijsstandaard.
