Functieomschrijving Als Head of Finance speel je een essentiële rol in het strategisch en operationeel financieel beheer van de organisatie en draag je bij aan de lange-termijngroei en het toekomstige succes van de groep. Je bent de rechterhand van de Chief Financial Officer, aan wie je rapporteert.
Je bouwt verder op je grondige expertise in gebieden als financial controlling en reporting, boekhouding en fiscaliteit en je staat ook in voor het beheer van de operationele ICT-noden van de organisatie. Je zorgt ook voor een optimale communicatieflow en gegevensrapportering tussen de sites en het financiële team.
Als sterke people manager begeleid je de teams als coach en mentor. Je identificeert training- en ontwikkelingsopportuniteiten en weet de competenties van de teamleden optimaal in te zetten. Je creëert een inspirerende werkomgeving voor een sterk presterend financieel- en ICT-team, dat performant en constructief samenwerkt.
Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden zijn:
- Financial controlling & analyse
- Aansturen van de financial controlling om een optimaal beheer van kosten en opbrengsten te garanderen voor de 25 locaties;
- Analyseren van de financiële prestaties van de groep, identificeren van trends, kansen en risico's en waar nodig corrigerende maatregelen voorstellen;
- Uitwerken van investeringsanalyses;
- Ontwikkelen van financiële prognoses en budgetmodellen in samenwerking met de verschillende stakeholders.
- Rapportering en communicatie
- Voorbereiden en presenteren van periodieke financiële rapporten voor het management, de Raad van Bestuur en de overheid;
- Zorgen voor een nauwkeurige en transparante geconsolideerde rapportering aan AG Real Estate, door relevante financiële gegevens te verstrekken;
- Nauw samenwerken met het financiële team van AG Real Estate voor de communicatie van de financiële resultaten.
- Boekhouding
- Superviseren en beheren van alle boekhoudactiviteiten, inclusief het beheer van crediteuren en debiteuren en het opstellen van financiële staten;
- Garanderen dat de BE-GAAP boekhoudnormen, IFRS concepten en de toepasselijke fiscale en andere door de overheid opgelegde reglementeringen worden nageleefd;
- Ontwikkelen en implementeren van een doeltreffend boekhoudbeleid en efficiënte procedures om zo de correctheid van de financiële gegevens te waarborgen.
- Verantwoordelijkheid over de ICT-afdeling
- Coördineren van de operationele ICT-activiteiten om ervoor te zorgen dat informatiesystemen operationeel en veilig zijn en voldoen aan de operationele behoeften van de groep;
- Je bezit een universitair diploma in financiën, accounting of economie. Een professionele kwalificatie zoals CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) of gelijkwaardig is een pluspunt.
- Je kan bouwen op een aanzienlijke ervaring (minstens 5 jaar) in financiële functies met groeiende verantwoordelijkheden, bij voorkeur in een sterk operationele omgeving waar op verschillende sites gewerkt wordt.
- Je beschikt over een diepgaande kennis van boekhoudprincipes en financiële normen onder BE-GAAP. Kennis van IFRS is een sterk pluspunt.
- Je hebt een degelijke kennis van fiscaliteit.
- Je hebt een ruime ervaring met het opzetten en gebruiken van financiële managementtools en accountingsoftware. Kennis van Netsuite- is een troef.
- Je hebt een grote affiniteit met ICT en bent vertrouwd met BI-tools.
- Je bent sterk analytisch ingesteld en beschikt over geavanceerde vaardigheden op het gebied van financiële analyse, modellering en budgettering.
- Je bent een geboren organisator die moeiteloos orde schept in de veelheid van verantwoordelijkheden. Je bent actiegericht en pragmatisch en hakt knopen weldoordacht door;
- Je bent een sterke people manager en weet anderen te overtuigen en inspireren en mee te nemen in je gedrevenheid. Daarenboven ben je een echte teamplayer en ga je met je collega’s voor hetzelfde doel;
- Je ziet opportuniteiten en met je proactieve ingesteldheid ga je hiermee aan de slag;
- Integriteit, authenticiteit en bescheidenheid behoren tot jouw persoonlijkheidskenmerken;
- Je beheerst het Nederlands en het Frans uitstekend, en je drukt je vlot uit in het Engels.
