ASTRID is een gespecialiseerde telecom-operator die instaat voor de ontwikkeling, het beheer en het onderhoud van een hoogtechnologisch netwerk voor mobiele radiocommunicatie (spraak en data). ASTRID is een initiatief van de federale en lokale overheden.

De afdeling PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) staat in voor de hardware- en software-oplossingen die gebruikt worden door de meldkamers van de Federale politie en van de hulpdienst 112. Functieomschrijving De afdeling PSAP is actief op zoek naar een Product Manager om haar team te vervolledigen.
  • U bepaalt de strategie van uw productlijn in overeenstemming met de algemene strategie.
  • U stelt de roadmap van uw producten op.
  • In samenwerking met uw collega’s onderzoekt u de mogelijkheden voor nieuwe diensten en voor evoluties van de bestaande diensten, in lijn met de missie van ASTRID.
  • U vormt de schakel tussen het bedrijfsaspect en de technische teams. In die zin vertaalt u de noden in high-level concepten en werkt u nauw samen met de product owner.
  • In samenwerking met de gebruikers bepaalt u de user requirements en zet u deze om in functionele specificaties.
  • U stelt de business case van “uw” diensten op en stelt deze aan de stakeholders voor.
  • U werkt samen met de Product Marketing voor het marktonderzoek en voor de “go to market” van uw diensten.
Profiel
  • U hebt minstens 3 jaar ervaring als product manager/product owner of als business analyst in de IT-wereld.
  • U bent communicatief sterk en kunt mensen overtuigen. U kunt zelfstandig werken.
  • U bent in staat om de architectuur van complexe ICT-systemen te begrijpen, de bouwstenen ervan te identificeren en de essentie van de oplossing te doorgronden (zin voor analyse en synthese).
  • U bent tactvol, en gemotiveerd door uw doelstellingen krijgt u uw interne en externe stakeholders op één lijn om uw doelstellingen te bereiken.
  • Kennis van de hulp- en veiligheidsdiensten vormt een pluspunt.
  • U bent vertrouwd met de Agile methodologie.
  • U bent een team player die zijn ervaring graag met collega’s deelt.
  • U bent creatief, nieuwsgierig en u denkt “outside the box”.
  • U kunt zowel zelfstandig als in een team werken.
  • U kunt op informele wijze leiding geven aan mensen.
  • Kennis van het Frans als tweede taal is noodzakelijk, en u beschikt over een goede kennis van het technisch Engels.
